In an attempt to beat Deanie's at its own game, young Woodstock ASL artist and Zena Mill resident E.J. Gold spears a tiny fish at the shallow end of the Zena Pond on the Sawkill sometime in 1953, caught on camera by cousin Arthur Gold, a concert pianist who often appeared at the deKooning house in the Hamptons when the Catskills were too far to travel.
